The 200th Anniversary of the most significant battle of the Napoleon’s invasion in Russia is commemorated by the big spectacular set of Russian legal tender coins. There are 28 uncirculated pieces of different denominations bearing the special designs on their reverses. One of them is 10-ruble coin with brass plating; it depicts the Triumph Arch in Moscow which was built in honor of Russian victory. The rest pieces of the set are 2-ruble and 5-ruble coins made of nickel alloy. 15 pieces of 2-ruble denomination have portraits of war commanders and heroes and the 16th one has the emblem of the Bicentenary Celebration. The 5-ruble coins are dedicated to the Russian cities where the main battles of the Napoleonic war were fought. All the obverses of the coins are similar to the ones of the common Russian legal tender coins; they have denominations and the year of issue. All the pieces of the collectible set are housed in the picturesque booklet.
