SEARS Roebuck 2-Mantle Lantern 72325 Avocado Green Dated 2/74 With Original Pyrex Frosted Globe.
Other than a good wipe down the Lantern is in as found condition and has not been fire tested. No discernible dents to fount. Avocado fount has some corrosion and the paint is stained with flaking in spots. Sears sticker is marred. Ventilator has some rust, particularly around the edges, and small porcelain chips. Globe is in nice condition, no chips or cracking noted. It appears to be the original frosted globe marked PYREX MADE IN USA. Gas valve wheel and tip cleaner turn freely. Fuel filler cap and ventilator Nut appear original. The Nut has some abrasion around the perimeter. The Nut is rusted on the stem and I did not try to free it. The stem does screw into and out of the burner assembly freely. Pump mechanism operates smoothly. Fount holds pressure when pumped. Some corrosion and chrome blistering/flaking on frame. The frame rest is in nice condition with some tarnish. Corrosion and flaking on burner assembly as pictured.
