By limiting all movement to the horizontal axis, X-HORIZON technology is faster, reducing shift force and eliminating ghost shifting. ROLLER BEARING clutch technology reduces bounce and chain slap. Type 2 Clutch and Cage Lock technologies makes wheel removal and installation easier than ever before. Just as on the chainring, X-Sync tooth design of pulley wheels active holds onto chain. Paired with the XO1 shifter, the X-HORIZON RD forms the backbone of X-Actuation technology for unbelievably smooth shifting action. Compatible only with XX1 or XO1 Grip Shift or Trigger Shifter.
