Description
A single mantle Coleman lantern model 200A, date marked on the bottom " 11 / 51 ", November of 1951. With the red ventilator and green fount, this earliest version of the 200A was only made for 4 months before Coleman switched production to the red painted fount. This " Christmas " version is very scarce. When tested it lit easily and burned steady with no problems. As you can see in the photos, the condition is rough, the fount has scrapes, scratches and wear, some rust, no dents. Fuel cap is a replacement. The collar has some spots of light rust, the globe base and frame have rust. The ventilator has a lot of chipping on the top, looks like heat damage, one dent and chip on the lower rim. The globe is a 1960's Bernz replacement. Because of recent problems I have had with the USPS not delivering Retail Ground in a reasonable time, this will be shipped Priority Mail in the U.S. unless otherwise requested by the buyer.
